We aim to offer training contracts to candidates with the minimum of a 2:1 degree. We welcome applications from non-law graduates and from mature candidates with or without a first career. We are looking for candidates who show enthusiasm and initiative and those who enjoy working in a team.

The training contract consists of four seats of six months each, over two years, including seats in our Company Commercial, Commercial Litigation and Commercial Property departments.

As a trainee solicitor with Wake Smith LLP, you will be an active, fee-earning member of each department you join. The intellectual challenges can be formidable, but a combination of formal training, personal coaching and commercial responsibility will help you evolve into a successful lawyer and an effective member of our team.

The level of client interaction will vary from seat to seat and from deal to deal, but basically, we want you to get involved as early as possible.

We are now recruiting for our September 2015 trainee solicitor intake and will be receiving applications up to a deadline of 31 December 2013.
